Automatic Printing of Photos

Photo booth mode can be used to automatically print photographs as they are taken by the camera using the normal camera shutter — without a countdown or booth sequence. Applications include school photography, portrait events, Santa’s Grotto, and ID photography.

Setup

  1. Set the number of photos in photo booth mode to 1.
  2. Design the print layout — set rows and columns to 1, and add headers, footers, captions, and overlays as required.
  3. Enter full screen photo booth mode (Ctrl+F4).
  4. Take each photo using the camera’s shutter release. The image is automatically downloaded to the PC and printed using the current layout.

Confirmation before printing

If Confirm before printing is enabled in Output Settings, the booth displays a print preview with Print and Cancel buttons after each shot. The photographer can approve or reject the print before it is sent to the printer.

Reprints of the last shot can be made by pressing Ctrl+R.
