Using Breeze Hub with DSLR Remote Pro
Breeze Hub can act as a print server for DSLR Remote Pro by watching the folder where Remote Pro saves completed images and XML files. The sync service and Connected Devices panel are not used in this setup.
Setup
- Go to File > Printer Setup and configure at least the default printer. Set up Printer 2 and/or Printer 3 with filter values if printing to multiple output sizes or printer types.
- In Breeze Remote Pro, ensure you are saving a “Digital Copy” only and note the output folder where completed images and XML files are saved.
- If using multiple printers, ensure the Printer ID set in the Remote Pro event matches the filter values configured in Breeze Hub.
- In Breeze Hub go to File > Preferences > Downloads tab.
- Set the Watch folder for prints to match the DSLR Remote Pro output folder.
- Enable Print photos and configure any additional print options as needed.
- Click OK — Breeze Hub begins watching the folder immediately.
How it works
When Breeze Remote Pro saves a completed photo it writes an accompanying XML file containing print instructions. Breeze Hub detects the new files, reads the XML and sends the print job to the correct printer based on the Printer ID, honouring:
- Print quantity
- Reprint requests
- Reprint quantities
