Print Layout Cropping

When designing print layouts, sometimes the desired output for printing is not the same as what is needed for sharing. The Crop When Sharing option allows you to print a full layout, but then set crop marks which are used when sharing or uploading to Breeze Cloud.

This feature replaces the Print as a Double Strip Option – which has now been deprecated

Enable

You can enable this feature within the Print Layout Editor by checking the Crop when Sharing option. Optionally enable the Show Crop option to see a visual guide of where the crop is set. Then click Settings to set the crop.

The area that is cropped out will be shaded red when the Show Crop option is enabled

Setting the Crop

The Left, Right, Top, Bottom values represent the amount of pixels you want to crop in from each of the sides.

1844 × 1240 Cropped in Half Vertically down the Middle

• Left: 0
• Right: 920
• Top: 0
• Bottom: 0
  

1240 × 1844 Cropped in Half Horizontally through the Middle

• Left: 0
• Right: 0
• Top: 620
• Bottom: 0
  

This is useful for cropping a 6×4” layout back to a 6×2” strip layout

1844 × 1240 Cropped to remove the Bleed (eg back to 1800 × 1200)
