Creating a New Event
The simplest way to create an event when first getting started is to use the Event Creator in the Event Editor. This will get you up and running with a basic event quickly. When you become more comfortable you can create your own custom user interfaces from scratch.
In this Guide
- Creating a New Event
- Event Details
- Core Interface Options
- Detailed Interface Options
- Sharing Options
- Finishing & Syncing Event to Device
Creating a New Event
Within the Event Editor, select Create Event…
Event Details
Next enter the details of the event including what type of device you will be using and its screen orientation. It is important to set these correctly, as interfaces in Breeze are designed to match these options specifically.
Steps
- Enter the Event Name
- Enter the optional Description
- Enter the optional Gallery ID (used for Breeze Cloud)
- Select your Device
- Select your Device Screen Orientation
- Press Next
Core User Interface Options
Now select your core photo booth options. These determine the overall experience, such as capturing a photo or a GIF, theme selection, etc.
Steps
- Select your Theme
- Select your Photo Booth Mode (photos, boomerangs, video, etc.)
- Select your Photo Aspect Ratio (4:3, 1:1, 16:9, etc.)
- Select what format to save GIFs in (gif, mp4 or both)
- Choose a Default Background Image or Background Color
- Set the number of images to capture
- Set maximum copies of prints to allow
Detailed User Interface Options
You can also configure more detailed options relating to filters, effects, confirmation screens, and more. These options are not compulsory but may be relevant to the experience you are creating.
Steps
- Select your options (see details on all options)
- Select Next when done
Sharing Options
Lastly, enable any sharing options you may require.
If sharing by Email or Text, you can further configure the contents of the messages.
Sharing by Email
If you have enabled email sharing, select Email Settings… and fill in the required details (subject, message, company info). You can edit this later in the Sharing Settings within your event. Select Preview in Web Browser to see how the email will look when delivered to a user.
Share by Text
If you have enabled text sharing, select Text Settings… and fill in your text message and the maximum height/width of the media to send. You also need to select the Method (from the drop-down list) of how your text messages will be sent.
Finishing and Syncing Event to Device
Once you are happy with your options press the Finish button to create your event. You should now see it in the list of events in the Event Editor. Assuming you have configured Syncing between your PC and Device, in the Breeze Booth App go to Events and select Refresh List to see the event on your device.
